Identify MOBO when board tag unreadable

I have an 8X AGP graphics card that uses a 1.5 volt interface and a mobo that I can’t identify by reading the tag on the board. The board may use a 3V interface that would damage/destroy both card and mobo. I need another way to identify the motherboard and its attributes.
