Identify the type of NIC in a computer

How I can identify the type of NIC that is in a network computer without taking the card out and examining it? I want to know if the cards in our system are 10base-T or 10/100 LAN cards. I heard that if the card has a BNC connector on it, that it’s a 10base-T card.
