I.E. 6 AND ACCESS TO MSN WEB PAGE

I am unable to access the MSN WEB page and
CNET download web page. I have set the I.E.
options to default and put them on my trusted
site. I still get unable to find these pages.
I can only deduct that somewhere in the Windows 98 second edition registery is corrupt.
How do I fix this ?
