IE problem

I’m running on Windows 95 with Internet Explorer 3.0 and i would like to know by upgrading to
IE 5.0 by skipping IE4.0 will be succesfull or otherwise?Hopefully it will not corrupt my Windows
95.By the way is there any way to restore back a goodbackup Windows registry in Windows 95
such as “scanreg” which is available in Windows 98.
