When I use IE 6 in Windows XP Professional to view a
webpage, I get the following message on the screen
but the actual content of the page was not displayed
especially images. Also the same lines were added to
the beginning of the html source.
HTTP 200 Document follows
Date: Mon, 17 Mar 2003
Server: NCSA/1.5.2
Last-modified: Tue, 04 Mar 2003
Content-type: text/html
Content-length: 1838
The webpage contains frames. When I tried a page
that does not use frames, it displays the text content
but not images. I suspect it has something to do with
the web server is using an old version of NCSA HTTPD.
But then I did not have this problem under Windows ME
or 98. Also, the problem does not occur when I use
Netscape 7 under Windows XP Professional. The
problem is a combination of IE 6 and Windows XP
Professional.
What happened?
