IEAK 5.5 Internet Options Problem

I’ve installed a customized version of IE 5.5 with the Internet Options disabled. The problem is I can’t get into it now. This is a Win98 PC. I uninstalled the 5.5 and updated the newest 5.5 off the Net. I’m still not able to get in. I restoredthe PC from a registry backup from a couple of months ago thinking it was an registry setting and I still can’t get into it. Is their a file that needs to be deleted so I can get into the Internet Options? By the way, I can’t get into it from the Control Panel either.
