IIS 5.0 and FTP on Win2k Pro

by eilonwy . Updated 24 years, 7 months ago

I have installed IIS 5.0 on Win2K professional. I want my computer to be an FTP server. I want anonymous and/or guest users to read only from ftproot directory. I also want to be able to log in as administrator and have read/write control of other folders on hard drive. The problem I keep running into is that once I set up ftproot, anonymous/guest can read anything I add to the “Default FTP Site” including other folders on hard drive. I am very new to this. I dont want to buy any 3rd party. Canthis be done?
