IIS & FrontPage 2002 Server Extensions

How do I correct a problem with the publish feature of FrontPage 2002 publishing to a web server running IIS 4.0 and FPSE 2002? When I publish my website from the development machine to the web server the HTML files do NOT overwrite to replace the old HTML document with the new document. Instead the HTML files “append”. Duringthe publishing process the HTML document actually posts new info end of the HTML document causing the HTML document to appear as if it repeats itself when it is viewed in the browser.
