I have Outlook Web Access running on an Exchange Server behind MS Proxy 2.0.
When users connect from the LAN using the NetBIOS name of the Exchange server, they can check their mail fine. But when they try to connect from outside, they get the logon screen, and after they put in their alias, they get the authentication pop-up. But their password is not accepted and after 3 attempts, they get an HTTP 401.1 Unauthorized: Logon Failed error.
If I try to use the FQDN to connect to the Exchange server from inside the LAN, I get a Page Not Found error, but I think that may be a different problem.
The only change that I can remember making is that I took the proxy server out of a chain; it had been forwarding everything to an external server for filtering, but is now doing the filtering itself.
Any suggestions?
