Everytime I’m starting windows up lately I’m getting the error Illegal System DLL Relocation, It says….
The system DLL user32.dll was relocated in memory. The application will not run properly. The relocation occurred because the DLL c:\Windows\system32\HHCTRL.ocx occupied an address range reserved for Windows system DLLs.
Now I have absolutely no idea what this means 🙁 Im using Windows XP Media Centre edition, and to be honest I cant think of anything I’ve done to make this start to occur I located the file and it says its type is activeX control. The laptp im using is not quite two months old so obviously ive been transferring data from my old laptop, ive never had this error before though it says this file has been there since 21 jan, but ive only started getting the error about a week ago, it doesnt cause any problems, that ive noticed, but just comes up everytime i start windows.
If anyone can tell me at least why it comes up or what to do to get rid of it id be very greatful 🙂
Thanks
