Implementing AD in an existing domain

I am looking for some advice on implementing Active Directory in an existing domain. Let me explain….We currently have a Windows NT domain with Windows NT and Windows 2000 servers. The PDC is the Windows NT machine with a BDC as a Windows NT machine. We would like to install a Windows 2000 server and implement AD. Any ideas on how to begin?
