Inaccessable Boot Device

by ajobrien . Updated 24 years, 6 months ago

As a network administrator, I have installed Windows 2000 SP2 on all of our servers and workstations (a total of 84 computers). All has been fine until I installed it on my home computers. After the installation completes, I get a BSOD on startup “Inaccessable Boot Device”. I can not boot into safe mode but I can reinstall Windows without any problems except that SP2 is gone. All my settings and docs. are OK. I have checked system resources, drivers, ect and can’t find any reasonable explanation. Any ideas???
