Inaccessible Boot Device

by thatdarnpc . Updated 25 years, 5 months ago

We are trying to install a NT server on a Digital Celebris GL-2 System box with an Adaptec SCSI card 29160N, Ultra 160 SCSI Controller. The controller has 2 Seagate SCSI ST39236LW 9GB’s connected to it. We are using an IDE cdrom.
ON our attempt to setup server during the install, after config of adapter card we are no longer able to see CDrom drive.
We tried setting up with setup dir on HD, but on reboot after initial install of files, the bugger blue screens with “STOP Inaccessible Boot Device” error.
We have checked HD’s even though they are brand new, looked at SCSI adapter config etc but all seems right,
ANY IDEAS?
have also checked out some of the suggestions from MS’s knowledge base but with no success
