Increase Refresh Rate

My VeiwSonic A90f+ is rated to support refresh rate of 150 hertz. I have a SONY Vaio. I am unable to change the refresh rate higher then 75 hertz. In control panel, at “monitor settings” under refresh rate. There is a box I am unable to check. Itreads: Hide modes that this monitor cannot display. I want to know how to icrease the refresh rate.
