Install New Hardware Prompt

I just purchased a new PCI parallel port for a 98 machine. I installed the card and then hook up the printer, ran all the software and all the good stuff. Every time that I restart the computer, it pops up the box to install the printer. The software is installed and there are two printers on the same computer. Any suggestions to stop this.
