I have win 98 on a FAT 32-file system. I have partitioned my hard drive using partition magic to take the free space on my hard drive and separate it.
I use WINNT installation partition method to make a NTFS area of the hard drive to install WinNT Server 4.0.
I know fat32 and NFTS are unaware of each other so I installed boot magic for the purpose of using the two operating systems. So far I have:
Created the partition, installed WinNT Server 4.0 (halfway), THEN after the installation process asks for the first CD and loads the CDs files the installation process reboots the system. When the system comes back up the NT installation is suppose to continue.
Unfortunately, when the computer comes back up it loads 98 since FAT32 and NTFS do not recognize each other. Even when I added the WinNT operating system to the boot magic menu it did not work. The option for NT was there but the system hung when I selected it.
What can I do to get my system to boot back into the WinNT Installation process so I can complete it? HELP HELP
