Install problem

I have a system that I have two AMD 2400 processors on a MSI K7D Master 6501 motherboard and 1GB DDR ram and two segate 7200 120 GB Hard drives. When I try to install Windows 2000 pro the install hangs at installing devices, I put the HD on another system and installed Windows 2000 on it and now I get the error unavailable boot device. I belive the problem is that I need to add drivers for my MB but How do I do that with out getting the OS going.
