installation problem

I download one software from Internet. It is fully download (no problem in downloading).
But when I want to install it, it gives error on my all PC (my Os is win98)”could not initialize installation (CRT) the parameter is incorrect” because of thisI am Annabel to install it. But on the other side same software was install on my work place computer.
Please give me a solution
