installing a 5.25 floppy drive as an external in windows 98 laptop

trying to access data from a bunch of floppy 5.25 disks. have an “external 5.25 floppy disk kit” manufactured g-d knows when- that i would like to use to do this using a win 98 laptop. is there any way to do this?
