Installing Sever with RIS

I have been given a fix whereby I copy the i386 directory to the hard drive, edit the txtsetup.sif and change the product id to 0. Then run the risetup.Once the setup is complete change the product id back.I then run the ris build and although it says it is building an advances server it ends up as a professional anyone seen this before and can help.
