Installing USB camera

I am Trying to install a Vivitar camera with drivers= vivicam 10 & 20.
when I connect the camera to usb, it starts to load new program , but then it says theres a problem and program may not work. and sure enough it does’nt work. I’ve tried for 2 days now to get this working. with no sucess
It is XP comp. Please Help. Glenn
