Installing Virtual Environments on Win98

Hi, I am doing a M.C.S.E course and I wanted to install a virtual environment on my laptop so I can install Win2000 server disk without causing any conflicts to my current environment.I downloaded a virtual environment from vmware.com but this is not compatible for Win98.Now is there anywhere else I can download virtual environment or can I create a disk partition on my laptop where it wont conflict with my Win98 desktop. Can anyone help please?
