by wakim . Updated 23 years, 2 months ago

Hello there. I have installed two OS in my computer, Pentium 3 1GHZ.393MB RAM, with the present original OS Windows 98SE.with 6 partition. I tried to install a 2nd. OS Windows XP Pro,, after the installation, I encounter the following problems. WhenI restart after the installation these message appears. Problem has been detected and Windows has been shutdown to prevent damage to your computer. Follows by some help I followed the recommendation after reboot the same message appears again, I install again, after reboot a message say Unmountable boot volume, and the end message with the following code Technical information. 0x000000ED(0X82781030, 0XCC000185, 0X00000000, 0X00000000

After the restart from the normal starting there was three selection slots namely, (1). Windows XP, (2). Windows XP, (3) Windows 98. In the slot 1. XP could startup but at times the message mention appeared as mentioned. The Window 98 slot does not have any problem. The 2nd slot Windows XP will have the message unmountable boot volume. How do I delete the second slot entry, can you please let me know the procedure in installing a second operating system as setup in my computer.
Thanks
