installing windows98

I’m trying to install windows 98 on my pc, but it won’t allow me to do it. My cmos has recognized it, and I partitioned and formatted thee disk properly. But as soon as it starts the process of installing win98 it gives me a “suwin” type of error. This is buggint the hell out of me cause I have another hard drive that works well with this pc.
