Installing XP Home

I am trrying to do a clean install of XP Home/ I copied the six boot disks needed. When I get to the 5th one I am told a “disk file is corrupted”. To “reinsert and press any key”. well, when I do this I get the same message over and over again, it never changes.
Also what does NTLDT is missing mean? and how do I fix this so I can install an OS on this piece of junk.
