Installing XP

I had a faulty PSU and replaced yet my computer still kept shutting down. I decided to rebuild.
New motherboard, processor, hardrive and RAM. I am having problems installing XP. I either get a stop error message or if I get to the install, the compuetr shuts down in the middle of the install, as it did before I replaced everything. All hardware is new and working, and conected properly and compatable to my knowlege. I am stumped and frustrated,. Anyone have any ideas?
