Intellimouse on NT

I have installed a Microsoft Optical Intellimouse. It works fine as administrator, but the non-administrator users of the workstation do not have access to the control applet. Only the standard IntelliPoint applet will show (no support for the other mouse buttons) Can anybody offer any suggestions?
