internal clock runs 11 min 1 sec fast

I have a Dell 4600C desktop computer. I keep having to reset the internal clock. Every time it is fast by 11 min. and 1 sec. I correct the time and within 15 – 20 min it is off by 11 min. 1 sec. It never goes off more than that or less than that. Why??
