Internet Acces Problems

Yesterday I was unable to get on the internet through my cable modem, it wouldn’t reset or setup my TCP/IP settings. After lumbering through a # of NET settings that I probably shouldn’t have I gave up and went to bed. I woke up today and the systemis working but I am not able to access a # of the places I normally go. Is there a diagnostic tool, or site where I can run a check on this PC ? One error I keep getting is about a query error, and another about an SQL error. Can Ya Help?
