Internet access

I attempted to install a wireless card to my laptop. There was a problem with the wireless drivers. I uninstalled the wireless hard and software. I now can not access the dial up ISP. It will connect and then drop the connection. I uninstalled the ISP program and installed the new software to still have the same problem. Can any one assist me?
