Internet Browsing and Windows ME

Ever since I did a clean install of Windows ME on my system, I cannot view certain sites in IE or Netscape. Yahoo, CEO Express, Microsoft are just a few of the examples of sites I cannot get into.

I have heard there is a fix for this problem, but I cannot find it.
