Internet: Error displaying link

If I go to a web page and don’t click on a link for a while (about 5 minutes) when I do click on a link another window pops up to display that link but all I get is a “Error Diplaying Link” message. If I refresh the page and click on the link again it pulls up the page correctly. I’m using IE ver 5.5. Does anyone know how any way, besides refreshing the page, to get around this?
