This client is constantly troubled by viruses, Bugbear, Brasil, Opaserv. formerly I thought it was through email, but today I decided to download the security update for Internet Explorer 5.0 from Microsoft’s website. this took 2 hours. While we were online, 4 more viruses were downloaded, but I dont think that it was Microsoft’s fault, and it wasn’t email. It may be that we are being targeted by persons unknown. What is the solution: We already have Norton Antivirus updated weekly, so that each virus is quarantined where it can easily be deleted, but the numbers of viruses daily is timeconsuming and troublesome. If we change the ISP from Pipe Media to BT Internet or Freeserve, would that help? Would ZoneAlarm firewall help? Someone suggested that changing to Sophos would help because they can delete viruses before they get to the PC. Will the security update for IE 5.0 solve the problem?
