Intranet web server

by epait . Updated 23 years, 6 months ago

Hi,

I am trying to set up a quick website for my company. I found a freeware program that I installed on Win 98 box. The program is called MiniMax. It is a windows base web server. I have installed and configure everything correctly but can’t see the web pages in my browser. We use NAT and all private addressing on the workstations. I feel I will need to configure port forwarding to the web server? I have statically assigned a private IP address to the web server and configure all the network settings manually. This supports Fron Page…so I used a template to quickly create a test Intranet. This would be a great thing for my company if I can get it running correctly. I administer 2 offices 75 miles apart. I would like to be able to provide the Intranet for both offices but really need it for the office I am working out of.

thanks,
Rob
