ip address conflict

In a WinNT network, a file server running NT and some databases conflicts with an HP line Printer.The file server ip address is static but by mistake i configured the printer manually with the same ip add as the File server. When i try to install HPjetadmin it is showing the printer with the file server’s name. The conflict is causing an error in one database. How do i resolve this conflict without changing the server’s ip address?. When i try to change the printer’s it saying that it is unable to connect to the device.
