IP Route CISCO Router 2600 series

How can I delete a IP route on the cisco 2600 router. We have a encryption unit that is been transfered to a new location which is now connected to a new router. When I add the new ip route it has only a success rate of 60%. Which is maybe a cause of the previous ip route on the other router it is been connected before.
