IPC$ Share Problems

I run a school computer lab and am configuring several new computers running 98 on an NT network. I want to set up the printers, map drives etc. before I actually log onto the network becasue I have the workstations tightly locked down with system policies. The problem is, once I configure set up networking and try to access the server it wants a password for the IPC$ share. I’m the network administrator, and I don’t remember ever setting a password for this share. How can I get to the shareto reset the password?
