IPP in windows2000

I installed a Lexmark T630 printer successfully on a windows 2000 server machine followed by sharing . On a windows 2000 prof. just wanted to connect to the shared printers (giving http://printer_ip_address/shared printer name) in the browser URL field but it ended up showing me error message “driver installation failure” .
Can please anyone tell me why this error is shown and where i erred?
