IPSec W2k to a 3rd-party gateway

Hello,
I have configured IPSec on my W2k svr according to Microsoft KB252735 to a Netopia R9100 router. When performing the Actual Test, my IP Security Monitor is showing ‘IP Security is not enabled on this computer’. I followed the instructions in the KB and clicked Assigned, which it is, because now the only option is un-assign. I did not configure any RRAS Filtering, since it is not applicable in my setup.

What am I missing, that the Security Monitor shows, that ‘IP Security is not enabled on this computer’?
