I recently started having problems with a new hard drive in my pc that I just built. It started coming up with errors stating unable to write to Drive C and sometimes to Drive D. I ran Defrag, Scandisk, and even Western Digital Diagnostics thinking it was a minor problem that could be fixed. After a while it began to show upon bootup the message that I may have bad sectors on the drive. I requested a new drive from Western Digital, in the meantime, I ghosted the image of my old drive to place on the new drive. Upon laying the image on the new drive and installing it in, I started to get the same messages about not being able to write to both drives and that data may be lost or corrupt. Could the image itself be corrupt? Will this call me to rebuild it from scratch? Thanks for your help.
