Is there HELP for this beginner?

Would anyone out there be willing to give me a hand at my first web design? I have bought the “How To Books” and am still pretty much lost. I thought I could grasp this task without much trouble but am rapidly becomming very frustrated. I am not a genius nor am I stupid. Just your average(?)guy. I self-taught myself AutoCad and I guess I had delusions of grandeur about designing a web page for my product. If any of you out there are willing to help I will listen very carefully. Thanks.
