joining a domain – network path error

When trying to re-configure a W2K PC to join a local domain I get an error stating that the “network path cannot be found”. When searching to find computers I can see all PC’s connected to the domain. This PC is listed on the W2K server and I am logged as Administrator. Any suggestions will be appreciated. THANKS
