Kaaza causing Win 2K Explorer failure

I have several clients who have encountered problems with Win 2K after using Kaaza PtoP software.
Symptoms – Total failure of desktop Icons but menu Icons work. File transfer error messages with Win Explorer. Unable to enter text in Explorer base apps suchs Find Files and Folders, File and Folder Rename, etc.
Is there a way to correct these problems without doing a system repair or re-install?
