Keep M-Player from showing recent files

When I open MediaPlayer and click on “file”, a list of recently played files are displayed near the bottom of that drop-down menu. I would like to set my Media Player (7.1) to NOT show a list of recently played files if anyone knows how to do that. I’ve spent some time researching this, but no answer so far. Any help is appreciated!
