Keyboard lights flashing

-PS2 keyboard
-ATX mobo
-Win98
-client unsure of action that caused symtoms to begin
-symptom: num lock, caps lock, scoll lock all begin flashing in unison at post screen. A second, known good kbd exibits same behavior. Suspect a bad mobo, buthadn’t seen these symptoms before. Ideas?
