Klez Virus gone But low Sys Resources

I have had several people that got infected with the klez virus. They ran the tool from Symantec to remove the virus and everything seemed to work fine but now they are getting constant, low system resource messages and blue screens. It looks like anew install of the OS is going to have to happen to take care of the problem unless someone out there has figured out another solution.
