kmode exception

I have an IBM 600e laptop duel boot 98/nt
I down loaded driver for internal modem nt side.
The NT side for testing and is not open to outside apps. Does have orical.
After installing and reboot i receive the stop kmode exception not handled ndis.sys.
Cannot get to windows even after repair, last good boot.
Any ideas.
