Kodak DC3400 compat with Win Profess

Hi,

Trying to get my Kodak Dc3400 Mounter and “Twain” software to install properly on a Dell Lattitude laptop PentiumII processor. It has Windows Professional installed recently and the laptop reboots when shutting down or going to suspend and the mounter and “twain” software install does not complete as well. Are Kodak and Microsoft compatible on the Windows Professional O/S?
