LAN storage

My drive is LAN storage (i.e. it is connected directly to the router as it has LAN port RJ45). I connected it to the router and opened port 21 for FTP but the problem is when i restart my router my external internet IP changes and hence i can not locate my drive over the internet. Can you help to make my internet IP static?
