About a month ago my laptop began freezing. I called windows tech and we went through several days of troubleshooting and after the third day we thought we had it solved. But oh no later that evening it happened again and continues to do so. So here is the main problem:(everything runs fine in safe mode that is supposed to run.) I turn on my laptop and it starts normally, it goes to the logon screen and asks for the user and password (if I wait to long, 5-10 minutes it may freeze)I enter my info in and wait it may freeze while checking user prefernces and it may not from there on its a guessing game as to when it will freeze again. I thought maybe I needed to clean my registry but after reading some discussion threads I’m not sure that is what I want to do. I’m pretty sure my hard drive is not at fault.
